Hi, I’m Nathan, an engineer and 3D artist at Beta Technologies in Burlington Vermont.
I grew up on a farm in Missouri, building and flying model airplanes over our horses and sheep. During my gap year in 2017, I became a commercial UAS pilot, learned welding and composite fabrication, and taught students in a school makerspace. In 2019, I received my private pilot certificate.
I graduated from Olin College of Engineering in December of 2022. Some of my favorite experiences were being a mentor and test pilot for Olin Design Build Fly, teaching CNC machining and composites in the Olin Shop, and co-teaching a 3000 level course, Mechanical Analysis, with other “super seniors”. I also served as a course assistant for the Design for Manufacturing and Digital Photography courses.
